The Account Executive, based in Guangzhou, will help support on the current portfolio of Mintel Clients in the Greater China market. The Account Executive will support subscription renewals, identify and support upgrade opportunities and assist with establishing strong, high-level relationships with Mintel’s core client base to drive Mintel into a position where we are considered a valued and preferred research partner.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Become a product expert across all Mintel all products and services

  • Scan and upload all Chinese official contracts to appropriate Salesforce accounts, Support in arranging courier for contract if needed

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to understand priority clients in AM team portfolio and target them for effective account servicing

  • Support in servicing of clients of AM team, responsible for assisting in one-to-one WebEx training with users, onsite training support where required by Account Manager and arranging on-site insight presentations where required

  • Support in administrative servicing on the account, for example, proactively setting up email alerts for users, data application and data pull assistance, and call blitzes to clients to gather value statements and feedback

  • Support in the team goal of achieving a renewal rate of 95% in the China portfolio

  • Assist in helping to put together renewal, partnership and service plan presentations for clients where needed

  • Assist Account Managers in helping to find new leads and users within an account to Go Wide, targeting across departments and at senior levels

  • Ensure accurate recording of client details, meetings, objectives, opportunities within Salesforce CRM
